Assignment: Acting IT Manager and Program Manager

Development of one of the biggest portal services in Finland, development of the client IT organization and participation in a major M&A process.
Specific tasks involved participation in business development, vendor evaluation, heading bid processes of IT development projects, requirement specification, evaluation of client organization and its competencies, recruiting, hardware and software architecture design as well as a financial controller/program manager role in a major international multivendor project. This project involved migration and a so called site split of three major Nordic portals from an old outdated environment into three new environments.

Analysis of development needs of existing IT-organization and operative systems, so that these would better support a rapidly growing business.
Identifying development projects and priorisation thereof.
Requirement specification and heading bid processes for prioritized development areas.
Program manager coordinating different vendor projects and client liabilities within these projects.

Senior advisor in a start-up. Main assignment was to manage the bid process of the technical implementation of balancion.com.

Program manager and advisor in Jokakoti.fi –implementation project. Further to that, advisor in the merger of Uoma and Avaus Consulting

Assignment: Senior advisor 1st July 2010 – 30th Sep 2011
Program manager and senior advisor in implementation, testing and deployment phases of a new editorial system. When joining the project, the implementation was already under work by a software vendor specializing in editorial systems. The editorial system taken into use by some 200 editors of STT-Lehtikuva in the summer of 2011.
